Glenn Meader
Interaction/Visuals Designer

Glenn has worked on over one hundred theater productions in the last thirty years in capacities ranging from lighting and set design to technical direction. He began his technical career in theater at age twelve doing “light shows” for rock bands. After graduating from Carnegie-Mellon University with a BFA in Theater, Glenn began developing some of the first animated laser projections using computer graphics, touring with major bands including Blondie and Kansas. He developed his programming skills professionally with Progress Software in 1995. Since that time he has created kinetic sculptures using electronics and microcomputers, including a radio-controlled dancer for Capacitor’s 'Avatars' performance in 2003. For Capacitor's 'Digging in the Dark' show, Glenn created a bounce-juggling audio-triggered computer graphics system; computer controlled, live inferred and digital video mixing; and live video image manipulation.
